While I like to make my own meals, whether it’s salads, pasta, pulses or rice, there are times when I am unable to make a tasty meal. If I am in a rush, or tired then convenience meals are a blessing, I’m always looking out for new products and today I am going to review a product which sounded like an exciting prospect. While I was at Holland & Barrett I spotted a VBites product I had never seen before, the 4 cheezly and chorizo potato skins.
To be honest I am not fussed on cheezly, preferring violife and vegusto but I figured it was something I don’t see very often so I bought a box. The chorizo was okay, it was chewy and went well with the cheese and potato but I still prefer the chorizo cold and from the packet. I also felt like there was a little too much cheezly in there for my liking, but my vegetarian brother really liked them so maybe I’m just being fussy again. Additionally, a pack of four costs £3.49 which I feel is a little expensive for what it was, however I saved £1.19 with a voucher so it was a little more reasonable.
All in all the product kept me going, tasted okay and had a good texture. However, I probably won’t be buying it again.
Have a great day,
