I’m working on a couple of new posts at the minute and this one was fairly quick to write, I’m posting today as I am quite busy. I’m off to the opening of a yoga studio and vegan cafe. It’s a 10 minute walk from my house, I’m so excited! Then I’m going to protest the wild animal circus in my hometown. Why do they still allow them to use animals like that? I’ll never understand it.
Anyway, onto the post. I thought I would let you know my skincare routine. I would say that this is on a good week, sometimes I’m too exhausted to do everything and sometimes I just don’t have time but this is just to give you a general idea of what I do when I’m on top of my skincare game..
Monday: In the morning I wash with water to get rid of the products from the night before, then in the night I use toning mist and micellar water after my shower to get rid of daily oil before I go to bed.
Tuesday: In the morning I wash any remaining toning mist and micellar water off, then in the night I use facial scrub and hot cloth cleanser in the shower. After I’ve dried off I apply a spot treatment.
Wednesday: In the morning I wash off the spot treatment from last night, and then after my nightly shower I apply a glycolic overnight mask. This mask helps remove dead skin and I find it helps with my acne.
Thursday: I wake up and wash the glycolic mask off, if I am leaving the house I apply a product with SPF as you need this to protect your skin after the glycolic mask. In the night I use a facial scrub and hot cloth cleanser in the shower and then apply a spot treatment.
Friday: In the morning I wash off the spot treatment from last night, use toning mist and micellar water to remove oils. After my shower in the night I use a rose geranium oil to balance my skin and help with anxiety.
Saturday: In the morning I use a facial scrub and hot cloth cleanser, then apply a spot treatment. Later in the afternoon I use a serum and eye brightener which I leave on all day. Then after my shower I use toning spray and micellar water.
Sunday: When I wake up I wash my face with water and then in the evening I apply a facial mask (which one I use depends on what skin concerns I have at the time), I wash this off in the shower and then apply serum and eye brightener before going to bed.
