It’s Wednesday again so time for another Graze review, this week I received the Louisiana wild rice and beans, the cocoa and vanilla protein flapjack, beach bum, and dark chocolate rocky road.
The first box I opened was the Louisiana wild rice and beans, which is wild rice sticks and chilli broad beans. I liked this combination, the wild rice sticks are beautifully simple and I really liked the wild rice inside. The chilli broad beans are a perfect pairing because this is where the flavour comes from, the beans are crunchy, spicy and delicious.
Ingredients: Wild rice sticks: wheat flour, rapeseed oil, puffed wild rice (11%), salt, and colour: turmeric. Chilli broad beans: broad beans, sunflower oil, salt, and chilli.
The second packet I opened was the cocoa and vanilla protein flapjack, this was an interesting change from my favourite jaffa cake variety. The cocoa is not that strong and neither is the vanilla, there’s just an overall sweet taste and this is the thickest Graze flapjack which I have tried. It also has protein nuggets but these weren’t as large as they have been in some other bars that I have tried, so it had a little crunchy texture which I enjoyed. They were kind of like crispy cereal bars.
Ingredients: Oats (29%), margarine (vegetable oils [rapeseed, palm], water, salt), golden syrup, soy protein nuggets, demerara sugar, linseeds, sunflower seeds, cocoa powder (3%), stabiliser: xanthan gum, and natural vanilla flavouring.
The third thing I ate was the beach bum, I’ve had this several times and is still my favourite in terms of dried fruit, and I just love the tropical combination of banana, pineapple and coconut.
Ingredients: Chewy banana coins: banana. Pineapple: pineapple pieces. Coconut flakes.
The final packet I tried was the dark chocolate rocky road, this is the first time I’ve eaten a chocolate snack from Graze so I was excited to dig in. The chocolate was dark but not that horrible bitter dark chocolate, and the cranberries and pecans were plain and simple. I ate most of this packet combined, a little nibble of all the items in each mouthful, this was amazing! The pecans tasted almost like cake, the cranberries were both sweet and sour, and the chocolate creamy and deep. It really did taste like rocky road to me and I would be more than happy to receive this again.
Ingredients: Belgian dark chocolate buttons: cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soya lecithin, and natural vanilla flavouring (minimum cocoa solids 54%). Cranberries: cranberries, sugar, and sunflower oil. Pecan nuts: pecan nuts.

Hope you have a fantastic day, it’s raining here but I’m on my way out.
