How’s your day been? I’m currently waiting for the BBC Adele special to start so I thought I’d post a blog. Today I’m going to review Tesco’s meat free Mexican style bean burgers.
I have now eaten these burgers several times, on their own, with chips and also in buns with either Violife slices or sweet chilli sauce. They are really nice, spicy flavour, crispy on the outside with plenty of beans and veg inside. The burgers are quite large so the pack of 4 at £1.50 is great value and I wouldn’t think twice about buying these again. Another thing I liked it that they have vegan written plainly on the front, so no searching ingredients to make sure you can eat them.
Ingredients: Vegetables (29%) (onion, carrot, sweetcorn, green pepper), wheat flour (wheat flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), kidney beans (13%), water, haricot beans (10%), rapeseed oil, dried potato, tomato purée, cumin, salt, oregano, yeast, onion powder, parsley, chilli powder, and black pepper.
