Swansea Vegfest

Evening everyone,

It’s very near to 2016 now and I am well aware I have been crap at blogging this month. I’ve been constantly tired and all the blogs I have to write are longer than my usual reviews. I am also still waiting to give out all my Christmas presents so I can write about what I made, but oh well.

It feels like ages since I went to the Vegfest in Swansea but now I’m finally getting round to writing about it, I attended the event alone as everyone I know was busy and I was very anxious about going. I decided to take my d-slr and hide behind it when I needed to. I did have to leave the venue a few times to catch my breath as it was very busy (as you can see from the photos).

Alpro yoghurts review

Evening!

How’s your weekend been? I’ve had an eventful day, I’ve visited my grandparents for the first time since I started work, I hate not being able to go more often. I have also been trying to clean my house but it hasn’t gone exactly to plan (does it ever?). I didn’t get everything done that I wanted to but there’s always tomorrow. I’ve come to the end of my Christmas holidays, tomorrow is my last day off and it’s also my husband’s birthday, so I’ll be up at 6am to help me get up at that time on Tuesday. Not looking forward to it. I’ll also be taking a little walk to town to pick up stuff to make lunch for work and for eating at home.

Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary sausages

Evening everyone,

How did your Christmas go? Did Santa bring you everything you wished for? I’ve been eating pretty much non stop since yesterday afternoon and definitely have a food baby right now. Oh well, it is the festive period.

Today I’m reviewing the Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary sausages, I tried these a while ago but I’m only now getting around to reviewing them.

Vegan chocolate review

Morning everyone,

It’s Christmas! I don’t really enjoy the holiday season as it’s a lot of stress but I wanted to wish everyone happy holidays. Today I might receive new products to review and I also have a post coming with things that I made for others this year (this will only go up after I’ve given them all out, which may not be until the new year).

Today’s post is a short one as I will soon be leaving for Christmas with my family and I thought what’s more festive than chocolate in the morning? So here’s a little review of two vegan chocolate products.

Propercorn smooth peanut and almond

Hi everyone,

I’m still swamped with Christmas preparation, working and trying to keep on top of things so until I go on my holiday break (24th to 29th) I will be posting small reviews and then I will post the longer reviews when I have more time to write them.

Today I wanted to talk about a variety of popcorn that I tried recently, it’s the smooth peanut and almond one from Propercorn.

Astonish cleaning post

Evening everyone,

I apologise for not posting much this week, and only posting now on the weekend. This week has been crazy, going straight into working full time whilst trying to maintain the household, speak to friends and family, spend time with the cats and make Christmas presents. I feel like I haven’t had much time to write my blog and use social media but hopefully I’ll be able to manage it a little better soon.

Anyway, I’m going to post one of my larger reviews tonight to make up for it, and I may post another one later if I have time. This review is on a range of cleaning products by Astonish. They are all certified cruelty free and vegan and are great value, it’s a range I really love. I spotted that they were selling the brand in my local 99p store and I need oven cleaner so I picked up a pack, and that was the beginning.

Butternut korma and rice

Hi guys!

Sorry it’s the first time that I’ve posted this week, I started my job this week and it’s taking time for me to adjust to a new schedule. It’s annoying because I only have four hours at home in which to do everything that I need to do. The job is okay, I’m clearly not meant to be there, everyone has pure science degrees and they think that I’m analysing them using my ‘psychology skills’. The people are nice and the day is fairly easy but I’m still quite anxious and feel out of place. Maybe I will settle down in a few weeks, we’ll see.
