Linda McCartney sausage plaits review

Evening everyone,

As this goes live I am having a nap because I am working from 9pm tonight til 7:30am tomorrow morning. It’s a killer shift made worse by having another long shift on Tuesday. I’m sure I’ll make it through somehow and at least I can sleep when I get home.

Today’s review is on Linda McCartney’s red onion and rosemary sausage plaits.

As I mentioned recently I am obsessed with meat substitutes and pastry at the moment so when I found my favourite Linda McCartney sausages encased in puff pastry I was so happy. These are amazing, they are wider than their sausage rolls and the sausage meat inside is perfect, softer than inside the actual sausages and more like the inside of their sausage rolls. The pastry browns without milk on top and they are a hefty thing on the plate so you could have one with sides but why the hell would you just eat one, these are so good! The pastry comes out flaky and there’s onion all the way through the sausage meat, with a perfect saltiness to the whole thing. I’m going to have to head back to Morrisons to buy more of these. I paid £1.94 for the pack of two.
