Foods of Athenry cookie shots review

Hello everyone,

Yesterday was my wedding anniversary, I spent the majority of it working but we managed to grab some time in the evening to have a little meal. We are going out on the weekend for a nicer meal, before I work another long shift on Sunday.

Today’s review is of the Foods of Athenry cookie shots.

I have been curious about these for a while, I know Holland and Barrett stock them online but I wasn’t interested in making an order just to get a pack. I spotted one pack in my local health food store and immediately grabbed it. These are amazing! They are gluten and wheat free and are labelled clearly as vegan. The chocolate taste is deep and gorgeous and they aren’t overly sweet and sickly. They have a proper cookie texture, crumbly and crunchy. The cookies are bite sized and I found it impossible to stop eating, I ate the whole bag in a day and didn’t regret it. I would definitely buy these again. I paid £2.85 for the 120g pack which may be on the expensive side, but it was worth it.

Ingredients: Gluten & Wheat free flour (Maize, Rice, Potato, Tapioca, Buckwheat) 100% Vegetable non-hydrogenated Margarine( Vegetable Oil, Water, Salt, Emulsifier: E475, Natural Colours: Circumin, Annato, Natural Flavouring), Sugar, Cocoa, Concentrated Fruit Juice, Natural Vanilla, Raising Agents (Mono Calcium Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate), Stabiliser (Xanthan Gum).

Hope you have had a great day,
