Weleda Gift Set Review

Evening everyone,

We’ve reached that time of year where I travel to and from work in darkness, I find it hard to get up in the dark and motivate myself to do the things I have to do. Does anyone else experience this? Tonight I’m working til 9 but at least I have another day off tomorrow so I can catch up on sleep.

Today I’m reviewing the mini citrus gift set from Weleda.

This little gift set was a present and contains a body wash and a body oil.

The body wash is creamy with a sweet lemon scent, almost like lemon sherbet. I don’t know why I was expecting the citrus to be orange scented but I didn’t mind the lemon, it didn’t smell like cleaning products like some lemon scents do. It has a light foam and leaves the skin feeling clean and soft. I didn’t find that the scent of the product stays on the skin too long after drying.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Coco- Glucoside, Alcohol, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Glycerin, Carrageenan, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Fragrance (Parfum), Limonene, Linalool, Citral.

The body oil has a much stronger scent, but I still didn’t find it overpowering. There isn’t much in the bottle for a full body application so I used it on areas where I had shaved, and I didn’t experience any irritation. It sinks into the skin really easily, leaves the skin so soft and I even had a little glowing sheen. I loved it.

Ingredients: Prunus Amygdalus Dulci (Sweet Almond) Oil, Alcohol, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), Limonene, Linalool, Geranoil, Citral.

I had a little search online and couldn’t find the price of this gift set but Weleda’s products seem reasonably priced.

Hope you are having a great week,
