It’s been one thing after another recently and my grandmother is currently in hospital so I’ve been preoccupied and haven’t really felt like writing but I’m putting this little post up today because I want to keep on track with my blog.
Today I’m reviewing Good Hemp’s alternative to milk.
This milk alternative is made with hemp so it’s not just nut, bean or oat milk. According to Good Hemp, hemp is much more sustainable than other crops, contains important nutrients and is good for the environment. Hemp captures high quantities of carbon dioxide, doesn’t need pesticides and naturally regenerates the soil in which it is grown. On top of all that all parts of the plant are used, the seeds are used in food and the stalks are used for eco-building materials.
Other benefits of hemp is that it is naturally rich in Omega 3& 6, with one 250ml serving of this milk providing 50% of your daily allowance of Omega 3. It’s low in saturated fat, free from GMO and allergens and is dairy, lactose, soya and gluten free. The milk is enriched with calcium and vitamin D2 and is free from artificial sweeteners, colours and preservatives.
Hope you’ve had a lovely week,
