I’m having a productive weekend, starting with cleaning my whole house. I promised I would post again this week and I thought I’d let you see what I made for my birthday meal, for those who didn’t catch it on Instagram.
To start the day I made some vegan French toast with Orgran egg replacer and topped with agave syrup.
Then for my main meal, I had ASDA’s popcorn chicken, onion rings and Lettice’s bacon spread on pieces of toast.
I also had a Linda McCartney pulled pork burger in a bun with lettuce, Really! garlic mayo and Follow Your Heart pepper jack cheese slices.
Additionally, I had some corn on the cob with sour cream and paprika.
My big plate had Sgaia Foods’ steak and bacon, Lettice’s sticky ribs, Sainsbury’s macaroni cheese with crispy bits of the bacon on top and mash potato that I made myself with added nooch.
For dessert I had a freak shake with Swedish Glace ice cream, banana, caramel sauce, whipped cream, marshmallows and vegan-friendly food colouring and shimmer.
After all that I tucked into a few packets of vegan fudge from Fab Fudge, I tried the vanilla, banoffee and espresso varieties and while they were all delicious my favourite was the banoffee.
Who says vegans can’t eat amazing food?!
