Today I am reviewing the Classic vegan burger from Miami Burger. According to their website Miami Burger focus on making plant based products that are good for you, with simple ingredients and plastic free packaging. They have a comparison table on their website of all sorts of burgers, showing that their patties are lower in saturated fat and calories.
I purchased the pack of two 100g burgers in Morrisons for £3.50. The burgers came in a cardboard box with no extra packaging. I found that the patties were fairly dark in colour and quite thin. In my opinion, the burgers had a similar sort of smell to a Quorn burger, the taste was pretty simple, a little meaty, smoky and salty. In terms of texture it was again very similar to a Quorn burger, that kind of fibrous texture running all the way through.
The burgers did taste decently nice.
They weren’t mind blowing and were quite thin. I definitely don’t think they were worth the price.
I probably wouldn’t buy them again, mainly due to the price. If you don’t particularly care about the health aspects of the burger I would recommend you try the Quorn ultimate burgers instead. I would also note that in order to taste the burger and feel the texture fully I had the patty on its own with just some sauce for dipping. My husband had the second patty in a bun with all the toppings and really enjoyed it.
I also tried their Louisiana Chick’n burgers, you can read that review here.
I would give the product 3 out of 5 stars.
Join me next Friday for another vegan product review.
Over and out.
